Charlie & Co. consists of an awesome VW Bus, a girl who decided to just go for it, a couple of fun loving cats, and a bunch of "BFFF's".  The group has come together in order to help bring smiles to people's and each other's faces everyday.

Charlie Bus 

Head of Charlie Bus Adventures & CFO (Chief Fun Officer)

Charlie is a 1974 VW Westfalia Bus who spent most of its life in California before making its way to the east coast. As the story goes, Tom Mack, Classic Car Dealer, picked up the bus at an auction from a young couple prior to Danielle finding it for sale on his website. It was a long time dream of hers to have a camper to compliment her adventurous lifestyle and in June of 2015, Charlie moved to NJ where Charlie Bus Adventures was born.

Firefly Music Festival would be their first adventure together the weekend after Charlie was delivered. Soon after they hit the road, Danielle "stalled out" and quickly her (chosen) brother Ed had to take the wheel given this was her first time learning how to drive stick shift. Charlie is thankful for those who over the past few years, have helped keep the good times rolling, literally!  

Charlie is excited to help make peoples most cherished life moments that much more memorable by providing a unique experience for them. Memories for a lifetime and the photos to match!

P.S.  Firefly was also where Charlie met her boyfriend Feo. It was love at first (bus) sight. Check out the photos below to see Charlie & Feo (the green 1977 VW Bus) on a few dates!  

Danielle "Dani" May

Danielle's first job walking "Ponies at Parties" (if babysitting doesn't count) was at age 13. Once she turned 16, the obvious next step was to get a job in retail at the newly opened outlet mall as a sales associate. Since then, she has spent the last 20yrs working for some of the most recognized brands in the fashion industry. Holding literally every level position in retail. Little did she know, at the time, her first "real" job would last nearly 7 years with the same company, Leggs Hanes Bali Playtex (or LHBP for short!), working in 5 different stores and was promoted all the way up to a Store Manager. Danielle was running the #1 store in the company by the time she graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelors in Marketing.

Upon graduating from college, Danielle spent 7yrs with Ralph Lauren holding several different positions within the Outlet, Retail, and Wholesale divisions; again another 5 stores under her belt and becoming a Regional Director! Micheal Kors was next, leading the east coast wholesale team.  From there it was back to underwear and on to SPANX!

At SPANX, Danielle was the very first retail employee hired with the important task of opening their FIRST EVER retail store with 9 more to follow! As Director of Retail & Store Operations, Danielle had the privilege of hiring 80 incredible women across 9 states. This was the role that Danielle accredites most to what truly groomed her to be brave enough to start her own company. Having worked for, the one and only, Sara Blakely was not only an honor, however after 4yrs at SPANX an entrepreneurial mindset and idea of not being afraid of failure was instilled in Danielle.

.Before heading on her own path, Ferrari would mark year 20 for Danielle's retail career, as she most recently led the US retail division as VP Brand.

In 2017, Charlie & Co. Mobile Photo Booth was created to combine Danielle's love of adventure, photos. and people. Living the best version of yourself everyday is what inspired FABYOUBUSLIFE.  Trust us,, if you ever come in contact with a vintage VW Bus you will have a smile ear to ear that is guaranteed to leave you feeling so much joy and simply fabulous or as we say, FABYOUBUS!

Danielle's life mission is to leave things (and people) better than she found them. The creation of Charlie & Co. is just one of the avenues to do it and she can't wait to spread happiness to as many people as possible.  

George & Martha Cat

​Although born in the state of Georgia, George & Martha were adopted by Danielle in Hopewell, NJ. Hopewell is a suburb of Trenton in between where the Battle of Trenton and the Battle of Princeton took place, this inspired their names as well as an avid love of history.

Black cats are seldom adopted due to the superstition of them being unlucky. Danielle has always adored cats, especially black. Having grown up with one, Ebony, we know that if a black cat crosses your path, just pet it, they are clearly not bad luck. Better yet, go adopt one (or 2!) today!

Charlie & Danielle meet some really awesome people along their adventures and this is where you will be able to find them. At least those who match our mission of helping others and meet our definition of living a simply FABYOUBUS life.

Friends of Charlie consist of other small (mostly women owned and operated) businesses we partner with.

Family is our fleet of services; immediate family members are internally owned and extended family members are externally owned by some really cool people!
