Andrea May, Owner & Artist of Abstract Dream Designs
Andrea has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Having experimented with different mediums and styles she finds abstract to be the most fun! Painting gives her an additional outlet to express her creativity and she gets so much joy from seeing her paintings in other people's homes. For years, friends and family had been encouraging Andrea to sell her work and she is thrilled to have this opportunity to bring unique yet affordable pieces to the marketplace. As an aesthetic consultant, Andrea loves mixing and matching and tying things together that are not obvious. She's had a passion for architecture and interior design since a very young age and loves to create beautiful spaces. |
How did we meet?
The quick answer, Andrea is my younger, as some people guess, yet older sister! Growing up in a very small town in NJ Andrea and I enjoyed a childhood filled with great friends who helped shape the women we are today. From riding motorcycles since we could basically stand up to owning (as a family) at least 18 dogs in our lifetime so far, life has never been dull.. Andrea has a love for the outdoors and we go camping at least once a month together with friends. She is the example of what a strong woman is, a woman who every other woman wants to be around, and a true inspiration to me. Andrea is one of the reasons I am "just a girl who decided to go for it", as she had the courage to do it herself this year too. |

How did we meet?
High School and reconnected through social media. a few years ago. It was my first time hosting a baby shower and after admiring Liz's work from afar online I knew she was going to be the one I called on to do the important "Invitations" task.. Liz's work is creative, unique, and I knew that she would be the perfect designer to create a baby shower suite for the occasion; invitation, banner, thank you cards, book stickers, wish note cards. After many messages and great laughs, we finally had the perfect theme, Baby Dinosaurs!. Since, I have recommended Liz to many and she even designed my sister Andrea's business stationary. Obviously, she is also the one behind creating the business graphics now for me too! |
